A pair of magnificent and unusual Antique William IV Sterling Silver Wine Bottle Coasters with a stepped chased floral and foliate design on the exterior of the coasters. The base of coasters is made of turned wood and each coaster has a large silver plaque in the centre.
Made in Sheffield, England in 1830 by Waterhouse, Hodson & Co.
Approx. Diameter at Base - 18.6cm / 7 1/2 inches
Approx. Diameter at opening - 12.5cm 5 inches
Approx. Height - 5cm
These coasters have a Full English Hallmark on each body and each central button.
The Antique Bottle Coasters are in excellent condition with no damage.
